    Default Simple Sunday 7/25/2010

Last night (well, it's 2 AM, so I guess we can say tonight) a bunch of nieces slept over and had a slumber party with our kids. Fun Fun Fun! Tomorrow morning (in about 7 hours) the plan is to go to the city to watch my cousin run through the finish line at her half marathon. We know going to the city can get us snagged with a bunch of temptations to spend money. So... for Simple Sunday, we are going to try to just bring sandwiches from home, pat cuzzo on the back, say good job, hug and kiss her, then come home.

    Simple Sunday.

We want to be frugal but not miss out on the cousin bonding.

Going to go out and weed for a while and I just got invited to a bbq and don't need to bring anything but a chair and something to drink! Sounds like a nice and relaxing day for me!

A lovely at home day for me - the last Sunday before school starts on Tuesday - but that's really not too bad because I treat August at the preschool as just another part of a fun summer season!!

Today I am attacking the master bedroom - to clear it out, but even more importantly to find my wrist brace since that is acting up again.

Some turns on the stationary bicycle while I read some more of "Under the Dome"

This evening I am going to tackle the area beside my part of the couch which is overgrown with 'treasures' - I do tend to nest where ever I am!!

Perhaps this evening I'll jump in the pool to tread some water and cool off - it sounds like a great Sunday to me!!

    Hope that yours is too!!

Boring day for me. cooked and canned some chicken stock-2 pints... empty and loaded the dishwasher... and sat on the computer all day farming on farmville and searching here for frugal ideas to cut back and or save money on things...
Haven't really come up with much.. More looking for things I can make myself to save money that I may not have thought of yet.
