    Default Simple Sunday September 26

Are you ready for this? For some, in three months you will be shopping like crazy at the after Christmas sales!!

Back to reality of this Fall Sunday first though!!

Another fun football Sunday for DH and me - I do want to get in some pool exercising early since there is going to be a big party at the pool most of the day.

Am planning on a lazy Sunday with time to quilt and get ready for next week.

What are your plans for Sunday?
Travel light. The baggage of the past can only hold you back.

Watching the Chiefs kick off at noon with dh.

Going apple picking if it works out later. Otherwise sitting on our arses watching football all day.

Now I should get some zzzzz's!

Taking my husband to his truck - he is a truck driver and is leaving for a week.
Trying out a 'cake in a cup' to see if I want to make some for stocking stuffers.
    Reading and kicking back.

Weather is grey and wet here today. I'llbe finishing laundry and relaxing in my jammies!
Then our traditional dinner at my parents place

I am anxiously awaiting the wind down of this "busy time" for us. I think we've got about 3 more weeks of hectic and then we go back to normal. So while today will be slower than the rest of the week it will not be what I like to call my normal relaxing Sunday.

I'm finidhing up some coffee and then I'm going to go for a short walk before going up to see my grandmother at the hospital. I'll probably head to soccer fields after that to see DS#1's team finish up his tournament games. Then I'll stop at the store to pay a bill on the way home to cook dinner, start laundry, and prep for the week. I hope to fit in some other form of excersize at some point as well.

The evening will be saved for relaxing though and I know I'll hit the hay early.

    Enjoy the day everyone!

My niece is getting married today. It is about an hour away, so I have to get gas in my car before I go. That should pretty much take up the whole day. LOL!

But I actually did some more decluttering this morning!

Hope everyone has a great day.

We are making apple butter, canning applesauce, dried apples in dehydrator, roasted tomato sauce to freeze, bagels and getting a roast ready for tonights dinner.

Wash, a trip to the dollar store, then grocery store.

I still need to get myself motivated to do some cleaning around here. Atleast to have things put away.

Once that is done I can relax a little bit.

Went to my dad's this morning. It's his 59th birthday. He made us all biscuits and gravy, grits, bacon and country ham for breakfast.

Home now and being lazy while the race is on. DS and DH have gone to the gym to lift weights. DD is doing homework, writing essays for college applications and filling out a few college apps.

Vegetable beef soup is in the CP and will make some cornbread to go along with it for dinner.

I slept in -- yup... FINALLY

Had a cup of coffee and a nice coffee cake muffin and posted the first thing for sale on Ebay.

Washed some clothes to be posted for sale later and resisted running through the halls because someone pulled my wet clothes out of the dryer... it's okay... Karma will get them

Did the dishes, prepped dinner and even sliced an entire bag of potatoes and about 2 pounds of onions with my euro-slicer (I love it... I don't have a problem holding the guard at all)

The rest of the afternoon is mine... until Diva comes home around 7 and Old Man comes back from work (whatever time that is)
I can't be out of money... I still have checks left!

Just cleaned the closets in my room...what a chore, but feel so much better...Got rid of 4 trash bags of clothes and 3 other trash bags full of old blankets and stuff....My kids have been cleaning in their room and have gotten rid of an equivelant of about 4 trash bags full of old toys and things, and we have also gotten rid of about 5 bags of trash....I guess you could say we are decluttering too...we have too much stuff for our tiny apartment...even after getting rid of all that...still looks like I haven't touched a thing...that's how bad it is!! I want to get everything decluttered and organized before winter hits....I want my home clean and spacious to enjoy my long winter nights at home.....

I cooked a meal for a co-worker who had a death in the family, then we went out to our house that we're building for meeting and back home to clean up! It's been raining all day and evening and it's suppose to rain tomorrow as well.
