    Default Simple Sunday 10/31

    Happy Halloween!!

Hope it's a great one for you and yours!! Even though Lahaina is known for being crazy celebrating Hallowee, I think DH and I are happy to be home for a quiet evening. I all the 30 years we have lived here, we have had but one trick or treater!!

Today I am going to continue on my quest for a more comfortable home - think I'll see what I can do about the area next to the entertainment center - it is getting very cluttered.

Need to get my lesson plans together for my first week back - thankfully DH took good care of my class while I was out!!

Hope the weather behaves so I can go to the pool in the afternoon.

Morning will be spent with DH watching football games and working on Christmas crafts!!!!

Got a great day planned and hope you do too!!

Sleeping in, football, make some Halloween cookies and get ready to take my son trick or treating. I love our neighborhood this time of year. Everyone gets so into it. Step daughter and some friends will stay here to hand out candy(should I trust them) while we are out with the little one.

Probably not much else. Watch my DVR shows later.

Quiet day here also. Just had a great b-fast of freshly baked butter croissants (not dough boy stuff, real butter ones yum!), hm apple butter and freshly squeezed oj. Parents are coming over later for football and dinner.
Will read and work on x-mas gifts this morning.
    Enjoy your Sunday everyone!

I was at the grocery store at 7am, how's that for getting on with my day? I needed to go & figured I'd beat the crowds. Having the kids here tomorrow night to celebrate my b'day since I have that foot surgery on Tuesday the real day. Fun city! Not often I get both kids here at the same time so I'm loving it & the fact that ds can spend the night adds to my happiness. Hence the trip to the market.

I'm about to get off my butt & do some housework, vacc'ing and I have some boneless chicken boobs that need repackaging & freezing. $1.59/lb, not bad. I also need to do something with onions. Store had bogo on 5lb onions, so 10lbs onions for $3.99, too good to pass up.
Not much else on the agenda besides reading. Dh is doing a jigsaw that I'm not a fan of so I just put a piece in now & then. I love the ones with lots of different things (people, villages, cartoon like & funny)in them he doesn't seem to mind the scenic ones that are all water, mountains & leaves, no fun I say, lol.,

Hope you all have a silly, soothing, simple, sorta Sunday. Say that 3 times fast!

    Happy Halloween!!!

Well, I fell asleep last night before 9, and was laying in bed relaxing by 7:30. Guess I was tired! Woke up at 7 with dh's alarm, as he was headed out elk hunting again this morning. His hunting buddy dropped a HUGE 8 point buck yesterday afternoon, so now my dh is excited to get out there and shoot his. Not sure where I'll put elk meat if he gets one, as we have an order in for 1/2 a beef with my parents.

Today will be lounging around the house, cleaning a little here and there. Probably watching a little football, too! Then we are meeting friends to go trick or treating in town at 5:30.

Should be a relaxing and fun day! Be safe, everyone!

I'll never look at "chicken boobs" the same way.

It's a lazy day so far. The kids were up and hyped about Halloween, but now they're settled with a movie on.

I've been nursing my coffee and going over my menu for next week as well as making my grocery list. I'm debating going shopping early- while the stores are slow or later when the stores will be crazy, but the kids won't be with me. It's like a choice between money and sanity.

Football game this afternoon- so I'm a write off after 3. Before 3 I'll be doing laundry for the week, tidying up (bathroom cleaning day ), and putting out the last of the Halloween decorations. Of course, what I really want to do is snuggle up with a book, but...

I hope everyone has a fun, safe Halloween!

Today I need to run to the grocery store. Having tacos for dinner. My brother and his two girls are coming over to go trick or treating with my daughter later on. We'll have dinner together and then go trick or treating this evening. I have cleaning to do also, mostly daughters bedroom and our bedroom.

    Everyone enjoy your day!!

I have plenty of housework and laundry to keep me busy today. I've already cleaned the half bath, washed 2 loads of laundry, and put away everything in the living room.

we don't go trick or treating, yes my kids think I am a but my husband and I have our reasons. ds is making taco bowls for dinner and we will make cookies since they won't get candy from trick or treating. and ds will want to stay up late and watch the World Series of course.

    Happy Halloween!

Lazy day today. The normal morning coffee group showed up and I have been going through tv newspapers coupons, knitting and will head out shortly to dig out the outdoor Christmas decorations. Want to do it while it isn't too cold out and there isn't much snow.

    Have a great day everyone!

Happy Halloween to everyone! I plan on spending the day finishing up cleaning the house and doing laundry and then taking the kids trunk or treating tonight at church. I'm also in my nesting mood getting ready for this new baby, so I'm also cleaning out corners of our home as the day goes on.

We went to church this morning and picked up a pizza from Papa Murphys on the way home.
Now the kids are watching a movie and I should be planning this week.
At 4 the kids have musical practice. After that it will be dinner, then dress up for trick-or-treating.
I really need to get some menu planning done and finish up some knitting.

Got up watched the news, ate breakfast, took a walk and bought a newspaper. Came home and made a big batch of coconut curried veggies. Went on computer and then took a nap. Now I need to straighten up and dust this place and make a grocery list.
