    Default Simple Sunday 1/22

    I'm working on my bathroom cabinet drawers (decluttering) and need to make a few batches of laundry detergent, too.

    It seems like all I do when I am not at work is clean! I got a few loads of laundry done, cleaned (most of) the living room, shampooed the couch and loveseat. I am getting up the nerve to finish the living room and shampoo the area rug in there.

    The whole house needs to be cleaned but I don't have the energy or attention span for all of it today.

    I still have to do a bunch of dishes, including all the foodsaver accessories I got yesterday. That is going to be a chore!

    I made some banana nut muffins this morning. Next time I am doing half the recipe because it made way more batter than I had room for! I ended up having some enormous muffins.

    I'm just cleaning and doing laundry today. Fixing to get lunches/clothes ready for tomorrow. Have to help kids with their African American projects and help Jellybean with her words and book.

    It's a warm and humid day again but gloomy. Not feeling inspired to do too much. Stayed up too late researching. Blah. I wish the sun would come out.

    Lazy day - watched TV, took a nap, only thing I did was put in one load of laundry and realized after I dried it that I forgot laundry detergent! LOL Not my most productive day. Have stuff to do - dishes, cooking, etc., but just couldn't get things going today. Well, it is a day of rest and I must have needed it. Maybe I'll get a late night wind of energy.
    Goals:
    Lose 25 lbs (exercise at least 3 times/wk/eat healthy)
    Spend less
    Save more $ in ES
    Frugal challenge
    Do three things daily
    One new recipe a week
    Prep for zombie apocalypse

    Today was a waste. Did nothing productive but finished reading Cannery Row by John Steinbeck. Terrible book. Won the Nobel Prize?

    Walked in the cold (34 degrees) wet, overcast park for 1.5 hours with Penny and another dog bit her and drew blood. I don't know about you but when my Penny approaches, I say "she's friendly." Seems like the least that woman could have said was "they're biters." Geesheez!

    Oh, yeah. Filled the bird feeders.
