    Default Sunny Sunday

Sun is shining here today.. hopefully the clouds will stay away for a while.

    Tasks for the day

Take a load of books to Half Price Books (they buy books from you, instead of trading them for others, this is my first experience with them so we shall see what happens)

Take my air filter to Sharper Image to see why it does not work. (One of the fancy EXPENSIVE filters that do not need disposable filters and it did not last a month. It is still under the "return for any reason" timeperiod.. we shall see

My husband has to stop by his work for a few minutes and update something.. so that will be part of the trip

Might toss in some ingredents in the Bread maker

Husband normally cooks breakfast on the weekend

look at the ads in the paper

    Happy Sunday everyone

Lazy Sunday....Today DD's and I will go just to Sunday school and come home. I have a mystery shop for lunch at Olive Garden, so I will take DH out to lunch. Otherwise, just pick up around the house, maybe do a load of wash, water my plants, relax on the NEW deck!

    Have a great Sunday!

Mustang, I just had to ask since your almost always doing a mystery shop
Are they all for one company, or do you work for a lot of different ones?

    well my day today..
So far have looked at the coupons..and the ralphs store coupons, I can get FREE Loreal Shampoor Or Conditoner!! YAY that is some good stuff too!!!

I think I might also get a free colgate toothbrush..

We need to go to Target and return a few things, buy my husband a cooler pack for his soda's..

Maybe go to Ralphs today..(at least by tuesday)

I want to go jogging/walking out in the sunshine so I can get some color to my skin

I need to start cooking for the next week..I want to make one of the recipes someone posted here, and I need to make some more baby food

I think that's about all we *have to do today

I hope for a semi-peaceful Sunday. DH is out washing the car,as we went for a ride yesterday on some gravel roads. (We did find some neat old houses) I started his laundry for work, and oldestDD and I are coloring hair today. I know I neede to-we went for breakfast at Shoneys yesterday and they gave us the senior discount I'm not nearly old enough and neither is DH. Oh well,it was cheaper that way!
I hope everyone has a wonderful day

How are you getting the L'Oreal free? I wonder if I have the same coupons?!?! LOL

Today I already made my bed, clipped coupons, made DH breakfast.

I need to clean the house, wash rugs, go to Ralph's/Vons for deals, make a huge batch of spaghetti sauce to freeze.

Yesterday I made a huge batch of chili, taco meat and burritos to freeze. We have enough meals for at least 6 weeks worth of dinner.

Mustang80, how do you become a secret shopper? I'd love to do that!

    My day so far:
Went to Husband's work.. got his System Administrator stuff done.. we thought... he has to go back and fix something else

Went to the bookstore to see what they wanted to offer for the books we had. We were met by a very laid back person, who was busy putting lip gloss on, she had to clean up from the last offer, had an offer in front of us, and would be at least 45 minutes to an hour before she would have an offer for us. We said fine we would be back in an hour to see what they were worth to the store. We were told no, that we had to remain in the store the whole time or they would consider us giving them the books. We decided that that store did not need our books and we left.

Then off to Sharper Image. There we had to exchange the Filter we had. We got there at 11:55, store opened at 12... so off to Barnes and Nobles to get Husband one of his favorite authors boosk. Back to Sharper Image. We had no problem exchanging the filter for one that (HOPEFULLY) works.

When husband went to get the filter from the car, he passed what he thought was a Dollar bill. picked it up, looked at and realized it was a HUNDRED.

Since there is no way to trace who that money belonged to, we are putting it into our Neighborhood Association fund to buy signs for the Association, and defray some of the costs of National Night out.

So overall, we have had a rewarding day so far.

Default Here's the skinny on mystery shopping...

I shop for about 5 different companies. My shops range from fast food to casual and fine dining and convenience stores. A great site to find companies to sign up with is www.volition.com. I signed up with a whole bunch at once. Two of the companies I shop for I can pick my jobs right off of the internet. The rest call me on a "as needed" basis. Sometimes you have to take exams to be certified for certain shops. They usually let you take the test more than once. These are the companies I do lots of shops for, just sign up and they will notify you by email or phone if you are accepted.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to PM me.
I've only been doing this since March.

    Thanks Mustang !!

Betsy, There was a coupon for the loreal in the local paper (a ralphs coupon) that makes the shampoo 1.49, combining it with the .75/1 coupon makes it free ( i pay the tax though)

Pretty lazy day here. Dh had to work
We stayed inside most of the day because it is soooo hot.

I did some dishes, caught up laundry, exercised for 1.5 hours and cleaned the bathroom.

When dh got home we went to Lowes for a few things and ate at Subway for supper.
