Good afternoon! It's been snowing off & on here with about 1/4 of an inch accumulation. Our big one is coming tomorrow. I guess it'll start during the overnight and just snow all day tomorrow and finally wind down Tuesday morning. It's 29 degrees right now.

I've already done my morning routine, brought dd to work, cooking bacon for tonight's dinner, did some cleaning in the bathrooms: wiped baseboards, disinfected doorknobs & lightswitches, cleaned windows & pictures and cleaned the shower & tubs, and got dh's juices in the fridge for the week.
Now I'm sitting down watching the football game.

I have to go back and pick dd up at 8 tonight. If the roads are too bad dh will go get her for me. This will be our first storm of the season.

Well, I need to get back to my football game.
Have a great day and stay safe!!

It's beautiful here in south Jersey. It's 62 degrees! We got up and I made breakfast and we went off to Sunday school and church. I taught the pre-teens both sessions because the regular teacher was out sick. Came home and had leftover peking duck for lunch. Hubby is working on his car and I'm being lazy. I'm fixing pasta with veal and sauce with rolls for dinner before we head back to church for our evening service.Enjoy your day!

Today we went out to church in the morning, and stopped at Babies R Us on the way home so I could get DS a play mat thing (and he loves it!) and a birthday present for his 1 year old cousin, birthday party is next Sunday. I've taken out two bags of trash.

    On the agenda:
*Sweep and mop kitchen and bathroom floors (for real, this time!)
    *Change sheets on the bed

...and then I plan on making a cup of coffee, and reading the paper while eating some muffins. During one of DS's naps, of course.

Staying inside today! The ice and snow is already starting here. I am making a meatless chili in the crock pot and we are going to have tortilla chips with that for dinner. I might make brownies or cookies for dessert. I also found an interesting recipe for Amish Coffee Cake from one of the blogs here at the village. Still deciding on which dessert to make.

I cleaned up the kitchen, ran a load of dishes in the dishwasher and started dinner. I still need to vacuum, dust, clean the kitty box, and take out the trash. Maybe I can enlist some help from my fiance. He's in front of the tv right now watching football.

Oh the weather is surely frightful,
    But inside it's so delightful,
And since we've no place to go,

    STOP SNOWING ANYWAY!!!

and I spent the afternoon with some friends of his who have a gym in their building, so we all went in and worked out for an hour or so. Then he and I went to the local industrial park to get a look at a few things. I found a pair of pants for walking to work -- FINALLY! -- and a movie. Then we went to Wal-Mart and he put a weight bench and a set of cast iron weights on layaway til he gets paid next week.

After that, we made a quick stop at the grocery store -- $5.00 worth of hamburger, 2 bunches of bananas, a 4 lb. bag of apples, a honey dijon mustard neither of us liked (of course didn't know that til after we'd opened it , some cheese tortellini (on sale), and a 2.25 kg. bag of old fashioned oatmeal for my breakfast = $23.00 and some change.

Now we're home, having had left over roast beef sandwiches for lunch and will spend from about 6:30 til bedtime mucking out and arranging our spare bedroom, so he can set up his weight bench and our computers here. I also want to set up a container garden of herbs, but we'll have to see how much room is available when he's finished.
