Arrow Sunday After....What's on your plates today?

    Good Mornin' Y'all!

When I woke this am, I forgot about the daylight savings thing! I had set my clocks back last night except my cell phone didnt reset...I'd have to turn it off and then back on for it to work. I woke up, looked at my phone and went OMG it's 10 something!? Time to get up! WELL....it was actually 9 something so Im glad. An extra hour to lounge around doing nothing!

Went shopping in the US yesterday and hunted out HUGE bargains amongst all the Canadians shopping to their hearts delight. For the most part we can get the same things here but its a different 'selection' across the border, reason why I go.

I was able to knock off quite a few people off my list and I think Im 95% done my shopping!! Woooo!! I'm still needing to be 'crafty' here and will spend Nov making those craft parts of the gifts. I feel so relieved!!

Today I will relax, do laundry and probably play with my gifts aka sort them out properly.

What are y'all doing today and did you forget it was daylight savings too?

Today I need to do some more cleaning: cat litter, sweep, vacuum, scrub the kitchen counters, clean the bathroom and wash 4 loads of laundry. I didn't forget about the daylight savings, but I need to set most of my clocks back, because I didn't do it last night. It's nice to gain an hour today, it will not be nice to drive home in the dark now, especially when it will start snowing within a month .

Couldn't forget what day it is, hubby especially looks forward to it. He's got all the devices that need resetting all written in his Palm & enjoys walking around switching everything. Ya, he's special. He actually whistles as he does it. Guess it's a manly thing to do~ work hard, protect home and family & reset clocks.
I'll be cleaning up from the party and Bil is coming over for a visit & spending the night. Not much else to do besides enjoying his visit since I got all my work done yesterday. Ahh.
    Happy Day All!

Starting come down with a cold (thanks Gripey) day before yesterday. Not feeling too swift so I'm planning on doing a whole lotta nuttin'. Youngest dd is home till later today so we'll be spending time with her and playing catch up. Just gonna enjoy a lazy day to recoup and rest and watch tv and surf.

~48 yr. old sahw, livin' it up in our empty nest, smack dab in the middle of everywhere.~

Quiet Morning around here. DH took me to the store picked up the makings for Jalopena poppers and Collards as our part of a carry in NASCAR party this afternoon
DD has a cheer demomastration at 3 downtown, my turn to drive first time in 3 weeks. Its close by so shouldn't be too bad.
Wonderful cool weather here in the 60 and low 70's windows and doors all open air off.

Well, actually I was still out when the time changed. I looked at my cell phone and it was 1:47 or something and I thought "Ok, kinda late" but then my friend's watch said almost 3am so I realized it was really quite late. I completely lost the hour.

I've got an 8-mile run today for my half-marathon training, a paper to write, a chapter to read, some articles to read, another paper to start on, a research paper to get to my adviser, a presentation to make, and I've gotta practice the music I'm playing for my friend's wedding in 2 weeks.

This morning we dropped the kids off to one set of grandparents for the day then we went to my parents for some free firewood. Came home, put the wood away, puttered around the house, now we're going to do some Christmas shopping

    I actually laffed at that.

We don't change time here in AZ, thank God!

Recovering from yesterday. I found a shop . . .that sells . . .fabric for 1$ per yard! I had to walk 12 blocks to get it but I have fabric for desperately needed curtains. Then Dear BF and I helped set up and tear down for an event at a suburb here. Strange multi-million $$ gated community that had a DJ, band, food, beer and wine event. We set up activities for the kids. Croquet, balls, four square, etc. Very nice evening out and the beer and food were excellent (when we got done working). Today, I'm hurting - back, legs mostly. Dear BF banged his big toe and it's swollen, so he's limping around too. I'm sorting coupons and watching the Cardinal's get their butt kicked (big surprise). I'm just going to make up stuff for lunch this week and chill.
