Sun is shinning here, but definitely crisp this morning. I was up early, checked the computer, read the paper, and made a pot of chicken noodle soup from the leftover roast chicken we had this week. I made lists of all the gifts I want to make for xmas, and I am heading to JoAnn Fabrics for some fleece, and Michael's to check out their wine charm kits- I have a 40% off coupon. When I get home I want to take summer clothes out of closet and replace with fall and (gulp) winter stuff. I think I'll make Chicken Picatta for dinner. I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

It's really pretty out in colorado right now, but I hear there are storms coming through this afternoon.
Were still in a severe drought, so any rain is welcome. Older son still has a strep infection so I will mostly be helping him.
Hope everyone has a great afternoon.

Good morning everyone. Oldest ds called and woke me up. I was so toastie warm under heavy blankets. Oh well it was nice to talk to him.
Today, dh works so no church here, so I'll be:
- baking bread

- working on craft items
- sewing
Its dull here and looks like rain or possibly snow. Its also very windy.
Have a great day everyone.

It's a beautiful fall day here. Not too hot, not too cold. Patchwork girl, you HAVE been a busy bee this a.m. lol. I did 2 loads of wash, hung one out, got everybody ready for Sunday school and dropped them off, went to Acme for triple coupons and used a $25.00 gift certificate from the gas company-so my stuff was free!
Today I have a mystery shop at McDonald's-will take DD's after church. DH is playing softball till about 2:00. Then it's RACETIME! Will watch the race this afternoon and relax. Maybe make something Pumpkin-I'm in a fall mood!
Have a great day!

Seems like Sunday came quick! Wasn't it just Friday? The weekend seems to fly by! Chris, DS#2, won both baseball games last night! DH and DS#1 went to play 18 holes of golf this morning. I went grocery shopping since I kept putting it off!
Made beds
Started laundry
Clipped some coupons
Need to finish clipping coupons
Input them into cashin program
Need to find a box big enough to mail a package!
Groceries are all put away!
Went to Kmart
Walmart
Eckerds

Looks like everyone's had a nice, busy weekend.
Mine's been very frugal (just like we like them!)
Not much left to do this evening:
*dry & fold 1 load of laundry
*heat dinner & clean dishes (leftovers)
*take out trash
*finish reading paper
*make to-do list for the week
Hope everyone has a nice, relaxing evening

Whew! What a weekend!!
Yesterday I went to garage sales with my friend then went with her to lunch (her treat). After that, I went to my sisters and we went to the huge Goodwill Store in Santa Ana (armpit of Orange County
)
I actually dug through heaps of shoes looking for matching pairs! LOL It was a riot! Then we went by a few consignment stores and shopped. Then went out to dinner with some friends (their treat).
This morning I got up and got ready for my friend to bring me her 8 mo. old daughter to babysit. She got here around 9:30am. Took baby with me up to see my sister and we shopped at another Goodwill store. Baby got fussy so I swung into McD's drive-thru and got lunch. Sorted and started laundry when we got home. Friend picked up her daughter and now I can finally relax!
I did the math and I got 24 clothing items and 3 pairs of shoes, many items are for wearing to work and I only spent $120!!!!!!
I estimated if I had purchased all these items for retail prices, I would have gone well over $1100!!!!! I feel so frugal!
I love shopping at the Goodwill!!!
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
