    Default post count?

Ok I know I'm getting old and sometimes I see things, but I could swear that my post count just dropped by about 15 posts. Did I imagine this or did it really drop from 903 to 885 for some reason I don't know about? At first I just kept posting and thought it would catch back up, but it hasn't.

Under announcements Sara had consolidated and eliminated some forums, I wonder if posts that were deleted in those forums, maybe came off your count? I have no idea...but just a thought.

If you posted in a forum that has been consolidated with general chat, post count will decrease because posts are not counted in off topic areas.

Ok thanks. I just knew I saw a higher count. At least I know I'm not going.

Is the 1,000 post award automatic or is it given by another member like some of the awards? I figured I'll never get any other award, likely, but thought that would show up automagically?

I didn't even know there WAS a 1,000 post award! I have over 6,000 and no award, so I am assuming it is not automatic. I think there is a place where you can request awards, but I'd have to hunt for it.

If you go to your homepage where your awards are listed, click on an award image. This allows you to see all awards and who has them. You can also request an award for someone.
