I'm new to FV. I've read through the site rules and all of that, I just had a question about something. I was wondering if it was ok to post that I was hosting a craft swap on my blog. I wouldn't link to it or anything, since people can view my blog on my profile here. I just didn't want to do anything wrong

Links are approved here before being placed in profiles or signatures because we are an ad supported site and it's through ad revenue that we stay afloat. If a link is approved without paying an ad fee, we request a link back. This is in our terms of service. To answer your question, if you were an active member here, you'd host a swap here rather than promote your own swap elsewhere. But since you are not gaining anything financially, I don't mind if you share it.
