Double Crunch Granola Bars
Combine all ingredients; mix well.
Press firmly into well greased 15 1/2 by 10 1/2 inch jelly roll pan.
Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.

These are good! I added dried cherries, dried pineapple, and a bit of dried coconut...Yum!

It's won't be as crunchy, but anything like chocolate chips, dried fruit, etc. Anything that you might like in a granola type bar.

id replace the nuts with maybe rice crispies....i know alot of recipes would have it...

are these Crunchy after cooked? or soft?
I have been looking for a nice easy recipe for Crunchy but haven't found a good one yet. I am looking for something like nature valley granola bars...

I've gotta question about this yummy recipe...
I haven't made it -yet- but i'm looking for ways to bump my protein intake, and other than nuts... what else could i add and/or substitute?
I was thinking of adding some flax seeds.
Also, someone else asked, are these soft/gooey or hard/crunchy?

These sound good......thanks for the recipe. I will be experimenting with this one.
Don't have a jelly roll pan so will use another type......should work okay, I hope.
