Cheap broccoli soup

Recipe Description

Very inexpensive & fast soup that packs a punch on flavor.

Time Needed:

15-20 minutes

Ingredients:

*2 cans cream of chicken
*2 cans cream of mushroom
*2 cans cream of celery
* 1 bag frozen broccoli
*1/2 stick velveeta (cubed)
*1 can evaporated milk

Serves:Directions:

Combine the ingredients and heat until creamy. I usually add a little more milk just to get a thinner consistency. Pepper to your taste.

I think I'll try this recipe when I am visiting DD in St. Louis - I just calculated the cost and it's at least $14 for the ingredients here. I sounds delicious and I will definitely try it - over there!!

~My cousin makes a baked chicken dish using a combination like this for the base. It is really tasty served over rice.
MM, this recipe would cost me $7.50 in Aldi ingredients.~
