Yep I also living in montgomery Al. own a home in Phenix city al. Born and raised in Georgia.

I am in Montgomery as well. Less than a mile from the back entrance to Gunter.

However, I think we are about the only people living in this town who are not Air Force. We were just born and raised here. Hopefully DH and I will be getting the kids and moving to Central Florida within the next couple of years.

I moved to montgomery because first my sister, then i left to take care of my mother then upon her death i moved back to be close to my sister. She works as supervisor of client accounting at jackson thornton Cpa firm. When i first moved here, she owned a lake home plus a home in town. So i moved out to the lake home. WOOHOo was on lake jordan, was so beautiful. but troubles and pending divorcee they sold that one. Now she remarried and speaking of heading to north carolina next year. GRRRRR. i think waynesboro some town like that. I also like it here cause my lung transplant center is in birmingham and it isnt that bad of a drive. I think i will always try to stay within a 2 hour drive of birmingham. Probadly need a kidney in the future. I am retired army , dont have connections to airforce. i live in sunshine village trailer park off wares ferry and 231.
