I have family in Beeville (and, of course, my mom's in Corpus) My mom's side of the family is actually from Refugio (settled the area in the very early 1800's) and my great-great-great grandfather was a Danish sea captain who became the first post master in Lamar. He and his wife are buried in the old Stella Maris cemetary there. That area is very much home for me, although now I'm here in San Antonio.

Was surprised to see I am only one from San Angelo, lived here for last 11 years. I consider Brownwood home town since family lives there now, but was born in Dallas. My family lives all over Texas, and spent a couple of my growing up years in a little town called West, Texas. ( home of the biggest swimming pool in US when I was younger.) Any way I guess I am an all around Texan lol.

Central Texas in Waco. I did live in a small town Lampasas TX. My husband retired at Fort Hood, then we moved to Waco.Been a very hot summer but we are starting to get cooler mornings.

Corpus Christi here, but not sure how much longer.
Bring on them baby steps...
Step 1: done
Step 2: waiting on amount, hubby had followup colonoscopy, I had visit to ER with followup procedure
Step 3: to follow, won't know aim until things settle
Step 4: to follow, currently at 6%
Step 5: grown child
Step 6: huge mortgage ANNIHILATED!!
