I love to shop at Publix when I am in the city. I mainly buy the Buy One Get One items with coupons that double. I have paid only .15 for a box of Uncle Ben's rice. I get a lot of great deals that way. I wish Publix was in my small town, so I could take advantage of that more often. I always thought Publix was expensive, but now I know they double coupons up to .50 and you can use two coupons for the Buy One Get One Deals.
I shop Wal-Mart for my basic needs because there is only one other grocery store in town and they are expensive (compared to Wal-Mart).

Coupons...Coupons...COUPONS!!!
Definatly look into grocery stockpiling. Look at couponmom.com and thegrocerygame.com., you wouldn't believe how much free stuff you can get, even organics. If you find a good sale on something you use, try finding coupons on a clipper site or e-bay. Gardening would also drastically cut back on your produce bill. I have about 40 tubes of toothpaste, 60 toothbrushes, probably another 60 bottles of shampoo and conditioner (herbal escenses, pert plus, and dove), cases and cases of tomato sauce, 40 free boxes of oatmeal, etc...for 2 people, and my grocery bill is less than half of what it used to be. That includes organic produce, eggs, milk, yogurt, and flour-type products. Oh, and I also got 17 loaves of Earthgrains bread at the local discount bread store in January for .65 a loaf and froze it.

Ii just wanted to post this link to a coupon site. They have a lot and it is organized by brand so it's easy to find the coupons you want. It may have already been put on the site before, but it's a good site that everyone should know about:
