Stepdaughter issue VENTING

I had a longggg talk with her yesterday. I had to be upfront with her and no beating around the bush. I told her i loved her with all my heart and soul but I don't like her. She kinda looked at me funny. I let her know how irregant she is, how she thinks she is God and we all to be at her thrown.I was tired of the pitty parties. I told her im sorry that your bio mother left. But god has given me to you and you to me for a reason. There is a purpose im in your life. My other 2 kids are grown and i was starting all over again. They have never been taught at all , never played with dolls, dress up, never did anything that little girls do. her bio mom has been gone for around 11 years and has seen 2 x the first year after leaving. she lives 45 minutes away, she seems to have these babies and then after she has them she signs them over to the father and pulls all her rights out. She has gave 6 kids to the dad, adopted 3 kids out and had 3 abortions.

She told me that i was the only mother she will ever know. She promised that things would change..

Nana...that sounds like it was a wonderful talk! It sure is a shame that some parents treat their kids poorly. You are the best thing that's happened to her. From what you say about the mother, it seems the daughter is trying to convince herself that she is worth something. It sounds like you need to do a 'girl shop' and lunch date with her. Try on a bunch of clothes and play dress up. I pray things change for you. Take care.
