    Default Stockpile Question?

when building a stockpile and items in store on on 'BOGO' do you get a few multiples of the item and put the 'free' ones in the stockpile, wait until you use the first product, then buy more on offer??

my local store i shop in has some good deals and i am trying to add to my stockpile but i dont have the offer of coupons to help me out, all i have to rely on is bogo offers, so do i stock up on all the offers i can (that i use) and go from there?

If it's something that you will actually use up, stock up on at least as much as you think you will use before it might hit BOGO again.

I agree - buy as much as you can. Sales seem to go in cycles. I have noticed about a 6 to 8 week cycle here on most things. There are some things that only go on sale once a year.

Even buying one item extra on each trip to the store will add to your stockpile and will add up over time.

Everything I buy goes into the stockpile space and then I replenish my daily pantry shelves from it. That way the stocked items are constantly being replenished and updated so nothing gets stale. After a couple years of this I have a well-stocked pantry and stockpile and future price increases are hardly felt since I'm eating from last year's purchases.

I also "can" and dehydrate excess produce and meats so nothing is wasted and will be used in the future.

    Good Luck
