Need Trusted Sources For
stockpiling items like canned butter, powdered eggs and all the other items we use that are considered perishable except under refrigeration.
We've managed a pretty good stockpile of canned, bottled and boxed goods and are moving on to the items that would normally be bought fresh and kept in the fridge.
There are a LOT of suppliers on line - is anyone familiar with one or two in particular that can be trusted not to cheat the customer?

I'd suggest checking prices at these places. Many of these companies carry the same brands, some have their own brands, but one may have a sale on the item, so you may as well take advantage of lower prices when you can find them.
Blue Chip Group - http://www.bluechipgroup.net/products.html
This is where I get Morning Moo's whey-based milk substitute - excellent for drinking/cooking. I've purchased Morning Moo's from them since 1992 as well as other storage items. Really nice folks to work with at Blue Chip Group. They were inundated with orders last year, as were most of the companies listed here.
Pleasant Hill Grain - http://www.pleasanthillgrain.com/foodpak1.aspx An excellent company.
Emergency Essentials - www.beprapared.com
I've purchased a lot of my freeze-dried foods (meats, fruit, vegetables, cheese) as well as dried whole eggs, dried butter, dried peanut butter, etc. through this company. They have some nice sales going on right now, and you can find great recipes for using these products. I've purchased from ES for many years, but had trouble with them last year during stock-up "survival" frenzy when orders were unusually large.
Walton Feed: http://www.waltonfeed.com/
It's been awhile since I've ordered from Walton Feed, but always had long waits for items.
AAOOB Storable Foods - http://www.aaoobfoods.com/
I've never ordered from them, but have friends who do. I think they are another company that was hit hard last year and you may experience long waits for your order.
Honeyville Powdered Dried Whole Eggs - http://store.honeyvillegrain.com/pow...FSUgDQodXR8F2A
You can occasionally find the Honeyville Powdered Eggs at Amazon.com for a very reasonable price. I use powdered eggs when shell eggs are more per egg. You can also get smaller amounts of powdered whole eggs from King Arthur Flour - http://www.kingarthurflour.com/shop-home-b.html if you would like to try smaller amounts.
