    Default Stockpiling from Easter sales

I am just wondering what goes on sale around Easter that I could stockpile. I have 2 hams and a turkey. I could freeze eggs but I am running out of freezer space. I would love any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

We've had some good prices on baking supplies around here - sugar, flour etc.

    And there's chocolate, of course..

IDK..sounds like your doing pretty good with the meat stocked up! What about after easter sales...stock up for next year with decorations or baskets?

I'm really looking at the food that might be on sale. I have bought lots of chocolate before-it has kept for an entire year in my freezer....I went to dummies.com website and looked up Seasonal Grocery Sales. They said in April you can find these items at their lowest prices: eggs, broccoli and cauliflower. That really doesn't suit my stocking up purposes. So I guess I will just pay attention to the sales....

I don't know about this year. In years past I could get

    Cake mixes
    Eggs
    Baking supplies
    Stuffing mix
    Mayo and Miracle Whip
    Pork and beans

But in the last year the holiday sales just haven't been good at all. Last Easter not one store in my area ran a sale on eggs!

Love asparagus on sale - it goes for $8-9 per pound, so it's great when it drops down to under $2. How do you use frozen eggs? Mahalo

This is another baking holiday so we have been having C&H sugar on sale and then I have been matching the sale with the C & H coupon. Dairy case items are on sale like butter.

I just got a ham and two pounds of butter on sale! $1.39 for a pound of butter!!! 79 cents a pound for the ham!! Too bad my freezer is stuffed full...or I would buy more. I may go back for another ham and some butter... the expiration dates arn't until June for both....I'm sure I can use them before then!!
