Default the weight lifted off my shoulders

I bought the freezer, ended up with a upright, and stockpiled it with 223 pounds of beef. We bought a half.

I feels go good to know I don't have to worry about meat for along time. It feels like 500 pounds of weight came off my shoulders. It took me almost 3 years to get here.

Now I need to save alittle each month to replace this when its gone.

I know what you mean; once I had a stockpile, I felt a lot of relief about the future. Just in case something happens, we are okay.

It is funny how calming just looking at the stockpile makes you feel.

I am happy for you and your meat goodies!

I keep hearing about people losing their jobs and I feel frantic to add more food to mine but I keep on with my plan and it gets done.

Stockpiling should be budgeted like a bill--it gets its amount and it always get done, no exceptions.

You are investing in your future one food item at a time.

I would love to have that much meat! Wowsa!

Pinetree that is great I would love to have half a beef. I know what you mean about a weight lifted.
I did buy 50 lbs of beef today.
We added another freezer last week and it is full now as well.
I really never thought that I would have two freezers full and that I really could use a third.

    Thanks guys,
I'm going to try & keep one freezer just of meat. Sometimes it drives me crazy to open a freezer & it has 10 cent carrots in it.

So impressive. We're at the beginning end of stockpiling - DH has not het gotten on board. I'm willing to take it slowly - as long as it's steady!!

Congrats on all of your freezer use!!

Wow! That is a great accomplishment! Congrats!

Yup, the relief of knowing there's a big stockpile is quite the comfort!
