Ah, thought of another couple of things:
Scrubbies for the kitchen
Canned soup. I have a little, but if the fridge is bare of leftovers, I'll eat it at night after work. Heating something up is about all I'm good for at midnight.Donna

Right now, I am looking for sales on things we use a lot of.
Currently working on coffee deals and Dawn dish soap to build that part of the stockpile up.
I know what I have now I think is a good stockpile. But I think I will be looking back on this in about 6 months and thinking....I can and should do better. It's a ongoing learning experience.--------My signature--------

We went thru several things faster than i thought w/ the kids home. I have to get in there tomorrow and reevaluate. I thought I had 5 months worth or more but people are eating all of one thing. I need to add COOPERATION and a can of WHOOP A$$ aparently. Or at least extra storage space??

coffee ( reg & decaf )
coffee mate
juice
chocolate syrup
Manwich ( wasn't in orginal list)
hamburger ( is there ever enough )
TP
spaghetti
canned carrots
bar soap

I'm still working on eating mine down. As some have said, usage made it pretty uneven. Things I need to add soon:
Paremsan-Romano grated cheese
Sandwich spread
Crackers, though I could have a truckload and they would still vanish, I think
Pasta. Who would have thought I would ever use up all the pasta?
Things to start watching for good sales:
Canned green beans and corn
Canned kidney beans, that don't seem to be on sale much any more
Regular Italian dressing for cooking
I still have, or have recently gained, big supplies of:
Canned tomatoes
Herbs
Chicken broth
Cream of chicken soup (need to use up)
Tuna, but it's dwindlingDonna

Niko ~ this is unrelated to the thread (sorry!) but as I was reading this through I saw that you use oatmeal in meatloaf. Is that in place of bread crumbs? I really want to try that. TIA

Yes, that's in place of bread crumbs. I like it better and it is all I've ever used.. The less you use the firmer the meat loaf. The more you use the looser. You can kinda tell as you're mixing how it will be.
Just to add...I have also used bbq sauce in it instead of or in addition to tomato sauce or ketchup. This is really good also and a way to use up the little bit left in the bottle in the fridge.Bank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck.
