Careful ladies, I started a thread once about who do we miss and it got pulled. Just saying...
Bank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck. When the world ends the only things that will be left are cockroaches, Walmart, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Not necessarily in that order. The order remains to be seen.

The whole idea of stockpiling is going a bit south for me. I recently became single. Now I have lots of pantry food, but am really barely going through it. I often have more food than I can actually manage. So, it's nice to have an extra large bottle of cooking oil, a couple extra pounds of butter, rice and beans. A closet full spaghetti sauce, tuna, may, ketchup, mustard, flour, tomatoes, beans and pasta. Stock up on tissue and toliet paper and light bulbs, but beyond that, it's more than I can honestly stockpile for a year and actually go through.

As long as the food is in a cool dark place it can stay good well past the "use by" date. So I wouldn't worry about not being able to go thru it fast enough.
Have you considered stocking up on panties, bras, socks, office supplies, duct tape, tarps, have a tool box, all those sorts of things? Are/ will you be able to have clean drinking water in case something happens and none comes out of the tap?Have an alternative method of transportation in case gas gets so high that you can't really afford it? You never know *shrugs* What about for any pets?
Do have a backpack to fill in case you have to leave your place for some reason? Leaks of all kinds of chemicals happen all the time in places.
