Frezzer did not freeze all the meat yet Did I do the right thing?
Started with an empty freshly defrosted freezer and added some frozen veggies and some flour. the next day added 63 pounds fresh meat.
Last night i had bad dreams things were not freezing so I checked on the freezer late this morning. almost 24 hours after fresh meant was added,Some was now frozen not solid yet but freezing but some of the fresh was cool but not starting to freeze yet.
I figure I added to much to the fresh into the freezer and it is still just working to freeze it all.
So I take some frozen from the upstairs freezer stuff and layer it in the downstairs chest freezer with the fresh stuff. I also take about the same about of fresh and put in the the upstairs freezer.
Did I do the right thing?

Just takes time, no worries. I threw a couple of hundred pounds of moose meat in the freezer a couple of days ago, and I'm pretty sure the stuff in the middle of the pile isn't frozen yet. Well, I'd be surprised if it is, anyway. It will freeze, give it time. Think of it this way, would it go bad sitting in the fridge for a day or two?
Reminds me, I still want to weigh out all that meat to see exactly what I got... Lots of ground stuff to make into tasty tasty moose sausages.... mmmmmm...

I think that you'll be fine - you got it into the freezer quickly, it will just take a while to get it frozen through solid, but the freezer should still be keeping it cold enough to be out of the danger zone until the freeze can get all the way through.
