    Default Food Storage

I went out to the antique store today to price wardrobes today. I want a large one, old, plenty of character to put in my dining room for food storage thats functional yet looks good and matches the old world/french country feel of my home. I don't want to see the food, I just want to have a place to store the stockpile!

I found 2 or 3 I like and I know I am looking at $400 to do it. I am really wanting to do it but will need to save up my allowance to do it.

One the other side---dang it, I found the bottom part of a huge hutch in wonderful strong condition in a wood that just matches my living room pieces to put that big honking 50 inch plasma tv on with tons of storage and a long slot/shelf for the dvr, dvd player, the wii and dds xbox.

I spent all but $18 of my allowance on it! I got it for $135! The lady is holding it for me to pick up.Dh said we can go get it tomorrow when he gets off work.

I guess I'll be staying home the rest of the month having no spend days!

Sounds good and 3 months from now the no spend week will be a distant memory. I skipped an auction today w/ 4 pieces of furniture I wouldn't have minded getting. But-too little in the savings as it is.

I bought my wardrobe today. It was original priced at $465 but it was on sale and then discounted an additional 25% so I ended up getting it for $224.25 so I was very excited because I will still have a little of my allowance left over.

Dd and I keep going around with what to put in it and we have decided to keep it all food stockpile.
