Default Is Your Stockpile for Emergencies...

... or is it part of your regular pantry?

I just wonder, because I have some things set aside that I really don't use on a regular basis, such as powdered milk.

    Just wondering!
    Thanks, all you geniuses!

    Kindest regards,

Ours is part of our regular pantry- just a larger scope. I figure "why store what we don't use currently and probably wouldn't eat in an emergency?"

My stockpile is so I don't have to pay the full price for anything. If I know I use a certain product and I find it for half price I get several so I don't have to pay a higher price later.

Mine is part of my pantry and I too have some things in there that I don't normally use but my goal is to start using the stuff I just rotate things around and replace the things I do use!

Mine, too. I stockpile for the two main reasons: not paying full price for food, and for emergencies. Bad winter weather and getting sick with a bad cold are two examples of "emergencies" for me. I want to have enough food around that if I didn't want to leave the house for a week, I wouldn't have to.
