Just wondering what kinds of things your adding and the deals you got. I think it will help me with my price book as well. Here's mine:
- 4 jars of peanut butter @ $1 a jar
-12 bars of soap @ $0.98 for a 6pk.
-4 large cans of pea soup @ 0.99 each
I still need to add:
-6 tubes of toothpaste hopefully for under 0.40 each
- and TP

Peter Pan seems to be having sales all over. Albertson's is selling them for .75 jar. I got 6 of them today. I think I'll go back and get more before the sale ends.
Also got:
34 boxes Silk Soymilk $1 ea
8 boxes Mini Wheats $1 ea
3 boxes Jolly Time microwave popcorn FREE after rebate (got that ready to go in the mail just now)
I have a bunch of rainchecks from Albertsons (no exp date) and I think I'll stock up with some of those items.
4 8oz packs of shredded mild cheddar, 99 cents each
4 boxes instant pudding 25 cents each
2 cans vegetable broth, 50 cents each
2 cans pineapple, 65 cents each
I wish I had more room in my freezer! I'd go back and get more of that cheese if I did, as that is the lowest price I've seen in at least a year.
I also visited a friend at the organic farm where he lives/works, and he sent us home with a huge bag of mixed greens. About 1/4 of that went into soup last night. I'm considering drying some of what's left.
When I came home, I discovered that I'd been left large bags of calamondins and lemons. Looking at Indian Spicy Lemon Pickle recipes now....
WOW~ You get some great coupons in the US. We barely get any in Canada and no one doubles coupons
I've added:
1-32 use Purex HE detergent($5.99)
1-210 use Ecos HE deterents($15)
12-cans Campbells tomato soup
12 boxes KD
12 boxes shells and cheese
20lbs flours
5 lbs brown sugar
1 can pam(bought 2, using one).
I'll add a little more next week, I think, depends on the budget I guess.
Need to do an inventory and organize my pantry items.
My latest windfall was 14 half gallons of Silk Soymilk for .88 each!
I had a raincheck from Shoprite for $1.88 unlimited amount and a whole mess of coupons! I had about 7-8 already so this will keep me stocked up for a while.
I use soymilk to cook with in place of cow's milk...it's cheaper right now. I love to make pancakes and waffles with the Vanilla soymilk....yummy! It's also great in smoothies. DS will drink chocolate soymilk occasionally and I sometimes use it in cakes and puddings. It has alot of uses...especially at .88 cents each! (long shelf life too!)
6 vegetarian baked beans - $0.90 each/B1G1 sale
12 lbs Angel hair noodles (not big noodle eaters so that's a year's supply for us) - $0.65 each/B1G1 sale
2 - 11 oz Maxwell House coffee - $0.70 each/B1G1 sale plus 2 coupons
5 boxes frozen stuffed chicken breasts - $1.25 each/B1G1 sale plus 5 coupons
Hit Sam's club the other day and got:
25lbs. bread flour
Hugh box of garbage sacks
double sacks of yeast
giant sack of basil/garlic noodles
parmesan cheese
50lbs. of dog food
big bag of cranraisins
