    Default speant the rebate.

ok I just spent it paying the big cc... it feels good and not so good.

I would have loved to pay off the lower card but there is methaod to my madness...

Sears is 0% until May 09 so 100 a month will do that fine for now
Cap one is locked in at 2.99 for the life of that amount.... so believe it or not it is my highest interest.

Then the other cap one is 0% but only until Jan so yep that is where I spent ALL the rebate plus some more.

I am losing more than 1/2 my income in Sept so I have to get things in order... I do family childcare and who knows how long it will take to fill up again. but if the cc are paid off we can make it and still pay a bit extra on the mortage which is the main goal. pay off so I can retire some day....

    Anyway PROGRESS!!!!!
    Meg

cc debt free YEAH on to the mortage

Good job! I know for us, back in the olden days, that baby would've been long gone and spent on maybe a screen tv or something like that. We've all come a long way.

    Keep up the great work!

You did a good thing spending the tax rebate on CC's, I think that's awesome! DH and I will actually be getting (or I will be) a KitchenAid Stand Mixer, which I have wanted for so long time so DH said I could get it.

Other than that we are stashing some away to pay for oil that will be needed around December and that will be around $500+ (I dread even thinking about it!)

Congrats to you! It sounds like you have a great plan in place. Hoping you get more daycare clients very soon to replace the ones that are leaving.
