Don't quit five minutes before the finish line! woo hoo!
    11% gross to retirement
10% takehome to tithe and offerings
emergency fund maintained at 3000(works for me)
    credit card debt 7500
    mortgage free
freedom accounts/sinking funds that ebb and flow
    then live on the rest!

i am trying something new. LDS church advises savings or debt repayment should be the same as the tithe. 10% each.

Just keep plodding and taking things one step at a time. You will get there and then it will be all worth it!

I feel similar, but then I remember how crazy and powerless I felt when I didn't have a plan...I think sometimes I get bored by the frugality, but honestly, it sure beats the chaos I used to live in...keep going...if I can do it, so can you!!!

The snowball takes sooooo long doesn't it??? Both my debts will be paid within a few months of each other and that is hard. At this rate Nov 2009.

If it wasn't for the remarkable rate my car balance goes down I would be without any joy with my snowball.

I really really hate that stupid credit card balance.....I really realllly do.

You are in the home stretch! Chugging along is a great pace to be. Kudo's to you for all the hard work you've put into becoming debt free.
