Good for you - love the "shameless bragging" line.
Let me tell you this is no small success, 12 months ago I remember the first time I got through pay day with any money left over - the feeling was soo good that that alone kept me going for ages.
The small successes are what keep you motivated.Debt 1 - Paid in Full (originally $750)
Debt 2 - Paid in Full (originally $2100)
Debt 3 - Paid in Full (originally $3500)
Debt 4 - Paid in Full (originally $4000)
Debt 5 - Paid in Full (originally $3000)
FFEF - Fully Funded with 6 months of expenses as of July 2009
Next Step - House deposit

Good job. I am happy for you.
A question though if I may, what made you decide to go ahead and start the debt snowball without your Baby $1000 EF in place?
I am just nosy and I am NOT knocking your choice to manage your own finances your own way.The math never lies, budget in INK!
Amount of Free items 2012 $391.33

Debt #2 12/31/12 CC $901.88
Debt #3 12/31/12 $3648.83

While I think that is awesome, I must say, I think your EF is far too small.
If something serious hits that costs a few hundred bucks, you've got no buffer to fall back on - you'll have no choice but to undo your hard work with Visa by going further into debt.
I'd seriously consider diverting that snowball to the EF to build it up to about $1000 ($500 if income is < $20000/yr)If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.
Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

It's possible that the $100 is a typo, and she really meant $1000. I'm sure she'll clear that up for us when she comes back to this thread.
Anyway, great job Janet. Every little bit helps
