Default WE DID IT! (1 more step to go!)

As of the end of Feb we have paid off:

    15k in credit card debt

    21k of student loan debt

We now have no debt but our house! We are currently working on 10k in the bank, retirement, and then working off our house.

It can be done folks! Keep your chin up and keep plucking away!

That's fantastic! You've done a great job! Thanks for encouraging the rest of us to hang in there.

How much we enjoy what we have is more important than how much we have. Life is full of people who have more than they know what to do with, but cannot be content. It is the capacity to enjoy life that brings contentment.---Unknown

    Thanks guys!

I will say that it was very daunting when we first started this whole pay off everything thing. It was like we weren't going to get it done because of the bulk of the debt. We essentially wiped out both our savings accounts, which while scary, we both feel like it was the right thing to do. It took us almost a year to pay it all off after dumping our savings. The thought though, of NOT living paycheck to paycheck, and being able to pay the necessities out of a pt job if it came down to it is more than worth it.
