Thumbs up I feel giddy with excitement!

We have been paying on dh's credit card debt (I say his because it was from his bachelor days) since the end of 2006. We are now down to only $12,000-ish left! That's out of *gulp* $60k+

I can't WAIT for it to be gone. That will free up almost $1600/month!!!

I think just before Christmas of this year...dh says the month after. Only time will tell

We signed up with our local CCCS (Consumer Credit Counseling Service), a not for profit group. They deal with the creditors, arranged for lower interest rates, etc. We send the payment to them and they disburse it to the creditors. All in all it's been a fairly pain free process ...no bad marks on our credit score, etc. It does hurt to make that pymt every month but ooooh boy I cannot WAIT for it to be over with!!!

Michelle, lots of yarn doesn't even begin to describe it
