Default Paid off the consolidation loan!!

$427 a month back in our pockets!! Or free'd up to pay for our new little one's daycare expenses...however you want to look at it. We got our tax refund in and kissed that bill goodbye, along with $875 on dh's discover card and the $200 bucks on the Sears card that had accumulated during my maternity leave. Another good chunk of the refund will go towards the 2-3K of maintaince work our truck needs so that we can meet our goal of driving it for at least 10 years. Now our only debt left is the truck loan and our student loans, except for the mortgage of course!

Now that I'm back to work, we will go back to our strategy of putting 10% of our pay into savings in order to work towards a six month expenses EF. We will need to replace dh's beater/commuter in another year or so, and we have a lot of home improvement projects ahead of us... SAVE SAVE SAVE!
