I thought I was going to passout lol!
I paid off almost $5000 in debt this week.
First a $4000 debt Monday and now I just paid off my car. When it came time to hit the post payment button I got light headed and double checked it 3 times! LOL!
That means I am 2 more debts down and 3 more to go(one of which is the house, 2 are dds student loans, and the camper).
Whew I think I need an appletini!

We spent so long between payoff "pick me up times" with no changes. It makes it even better when you finally get to pay something off again.
You know when you first start your snowball the little debts go fast and you are all charged and motivated and then you spend a year or two hitting the huge debts and it goes so dang slowwwww.
Been a great week for us.
Now it it time to hit the smaller of dds student loans which I think is at $3500 ish. Gosh I hate those dumb loans. The math never lies, budget in INK!

Way to go! I bet it felt so great to pay off that much debt at one time. I am slowly knocking out my debt a little at a time. I know what you mean about the period of "when you pay something off and then have to wait again to pay something else off". It feels like forever, but we all eventually get there with determination. Go celebrate with your appletini!!

I will probably get these two done (student loans)in time for the next one to start college lol! I HOPE beyond all hope to pay CASH and not those stupid student loans.

Meanwhile---I OWN my own car. We have always in the 17 years we have been married had a car payment or 2 and now we have no car payments and no CC debt.

Good going breaking that debt cycle. We are the lowest in debt in over 16 years.(since we bought the house). It's a great way to celebrate 25 years anniversary. So I send big cheers your way.!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations! Have 2 appletinis. You deserve it. Have you posted it in the debt reduction thread? You must have sighed a big sigh of relief.
