    Default Medical Debt Almost Erased!

    My dh got laid off last august. It has been a rough year. I had medical bills that I applied for assistance from the hospital for. Today I got the results.....on a $1000 bill I will pay $103 I am so happy! I have been working like a dog for the past few weeks to try to pay off debt and I was worried they would eigther turn me down completely or that they wouldnt pay much. I am so thankful. Now I am going to continue that "working like a dog" for a few more weeks but I can put it toward other debt.
    So happy today!

    Thanks everyone! I am super excited! I have so many dreams and goals and debt keeps standing in the way of all that....

    Here are my other debts:

    Home equity Loan: 2,600
    Credit card: (i hate to admit this) 2,900
    My van: 8,000
    Then I will be out of debt aside from my mortgage

    My goal is to be done with all of it (aside from the mortgage) by the end of 2011

    I had to laugh at myself though because for some reason my little cheerleader smiley (from my first post) isnt "cheering" so she looks kind of depressed
