    Default good embarrassment

We recently paid off store card #2 which is in my wife's name. I also had an account there at one time. Friday afternoon a statement came from them in my name - turns out I accidentally sent a payment to the wrong account number with online bill pay at my bank.

So, of course I get kind of panicky - this must mean we haven't actually paid off her store card. So I call to get the payment transferred. Confirmed that the account was closed, so that is good, but then learned that we had paid off my wife's card, as her account had a cash balance on it (last payment was a little over to take care of accrued interest).

So, there are now two checks on the way that will be going to replenish the baby EF. If only we could have received the 25% interest on our "deposit".
