    Default Another DH bonus today

We knew it was coming and a small one, but dh wasn't sure he would get all of it, but did.

After taxes it was 759.00. Not huge but extra money. Our electric bill was smokin 350.00 this month because our air has run non stop pretty much. So going towards that one for sure!!

And sending him and his friends to the Royals game on his Birthday. He deserves it.

That was planned anyhow, but now he can afford some of this.

And throw a little in savings.

Fantastic! That will help a long ways plus a little fun. I just started a thread on the last electric bill so feel your pain on that one. But so very happy for your family!

And the difference in a central Alabama summer and a Missouri summer: our last power bill $487. But the trade of is I have ZERO heating bills.

    Yay for your DH's bonus!

Yipee, ours was under 300 this month.

Our gas bill is pretty cheap, I think. Around 52 a month. So wait, if I do the math all year around, you might come out ahead.

OUCH.....for the elec. bill...........yeow!! I knew I was lucky with my under $50 bill last month!! (no AC here!) And that is for elec. and gas!

So.........I can stay warm.....or cool (I have fans in every room) but I just can't afford to flush the toilet!! Sewer= $80!! and that isn't the WATER to flush it!!!

It's interesting to see the difference in other places. Our water and sewer is cheap. I should add that our electric bill is combined with the water and sewage. So that is the total and they show it all broken down on the bill. Our water is around 15 a month and sewer is 20ish.

Palooka, that was about what our electric was all Summer long, and it's just electric. Funny thing is it was up $100 from last year and we used less electric

I know what you mean. I try to cut back anyway and the sucker goes up every year. Gas is notorious for this here.

Then that was $350 for, basically, ALL YOUR UTILITIES! I don't think that is too bad.........you were running AC. (except garbage, I guess) Do you also have any natural gas?

I was lucky this year with my water..........but on a hot year it is nothing to have it run about $80 a month.....for a good two to three months. This year the highest was $55.

Yeah, I too, like to see what other people are paying in other parts.

The electric, sewer and water is one bill, so yeah, maybe not too bad. The gas is separate. The garbage...you mean the trash pic up??? Is 18 a month.

Not sure what you mean by natural gas? We don't use propane, in the city stuff. lol

The lowest I've ever seen our electric bill in the winter was 99 bucks and like I said, that includes the water and sewer.

80 a month seems high, but you have a garden to water.
