    Yes, it does!

Last night I had a dream my friend was using an online check register that I loved... and asked her to send it to me but was worried it may complicate my existing budget system. LOL

By the way, you're not taking baby steps, you're doing great! Keep it up and best wishes to you!

If you don't mind sharing, I hope I'm not over stepping by asking what your degree is in?

    Thank you!!

    finance and accounting.

I am actually under-employed right now - working a few part-time jobs while I look for a better job in this area or figure out what to do next.

Yes, they are - if I can somehow get experience to get those better accounting jobs! Having a hard time finding a "real" job but on the other hand I am happy with the flexibility of the part-time jobs. (doing bookkeeping). Also want to have a baby as soon as we can "afford it" so we'll see!

I have an aversion to working for big corporations... I worked in insurance for many years and am SO much happier w/o the office politics and endless meetings. Plus, DH works nights so having a strict 9-5 job means we never see each other. So, I may just keep doing freelance bookkeeping if I do have a baby. I would also love to teach personal finance...

I also feel guilty for spending so much on a degree and not using it to get a job paying the most amount of money.

Congratulations!! Please don't feel guilty about 'not using your degree' - you learned a lot more than 'degree information' - trust me....... sort of hard for me to explain - but that education process adds to you as a total person - and now you are going to have more experiences to add even more.

Every career I have ever had has allowed me to use my education and life experiences - it's a wonderful upward spiral - and my careers have been extremely varied and rewarding!!

Looking forward to hearing more about your new experiences!!

congratulations! You probably use your degree in ways you don't even think about. I am a SAHM with a Ph.D. in Biochemistry. Because of the food intolerances my kids have and their various health issues, I actually use my degree.
