Grateful for my EF
I didn't even bat an eye when I had to pay for new tires unexpectedly this week. My DH's van seized up yesterday, and will require around $1000 to get it up and running. Two years ago I'd have had a nervous breakdown worrying about putting this on the card and paying it off. I hate to spend the money but that's what it's for - an emergency. We will work just as hard to replace it, but for now we have no new incurred debt!

That is wonderful CarolBee! It's always great when you can pay for things you need without going into debt, way to go!
