I have many "local" friends yet none as supportive as those I have found here on the Village.
I am a "frugal" person and most of my friends don't understand that. They call me "cheap".
It's nice to come here and find others that understand the way I think, the way I live.
So, thank you to my fellow "frugalites"; to my on-line friends. You are truely appreciated. You keep us in line, you keep us grounded, simple and you keep us reminded of what it is we're working towards.
Thank you!
P.S....I should add that DH reads the Village as well.

That what friends are for, and what frugal village is all about, support, learning, venting when we need to, frugality, and everone taking what they need from here and giving what they can and have to teach others.

Awww, you're welcome Lisa and I agree, this group REALLY keeps me on track, I don't have any friends here that are frugal, I REALLY try with my best friend (she NEEDS to be frugal) but it just doesn't get through.
There's nothing like coming here and being amongst others that do a happy dance when we lower a utility bill or cheer when a CC gets paid off!

I totally agree with you Lisa. It's not easy in an 'instant gratification society' to live frugally. Not many people even want to relate. That's what I love about the village too. Glad you get the encouragement that you need here.
