    Default Paid something off finally!!!

Almost two years ago, we bought a really nice mattress and bed frame/headboard. We did the pay no interest 'til 2007 thing, and the bed totalled at about $800. DH called them today and made our last payment on it, $156.94. We finally own our bed!

Now we can take the $34 a month we were paying on that, and apply it to one our cc's and get something else paid off!

Congrats! Doesn't it feel wonderful to pay something off. LOL, maybe the bed will be more comfortable tonight, since you know it's actually paid for.

    Sweet dreams!

Congrats!! It is a great feeling when you pay something off or know that you know own it outright. Dh and I have been having a discussion because we just got rid of our cell phones, and the $107 monthly payment and he wants another one (contract) instead of a trac phone. I am absolutely holding my ground, no payments to the cell phone company for me!!

that's the way to do it. Get that debt snowball rolling. Just make sure you have an emergency fund just in case something breaks. You don't want to have to pull out the credit card.
