    Default Uh, what happened?

I'm sitting here, all the bills are paid, we have one more paycheck yet, and we have $700 in the bank!!

We should be struggling since I'm $800 short for the month. We had extra fees to pay. Yes, dh worked 1 week of oT, but that only made $200 difference to our money.

I'm finding myself SO reluctant to spend AT ALL. Even holding off on groceries..lol. I just DON'T want to! So Thursday, before dh next pay, the money is being transfered onto debt. Just holding it to see if I forgot to pay something haven't found it yet... hmmmm.

Hopefully everything is paid and its free to put on debt! Woohoo!! Congrats on doing so well this month.

I didn't do as well, have had lots of expenses getting ready for winter in the mountains, also driving my kids around while my dd car was in the shop for 6 weeks. Can't wait for October and a fresh start in the monthly budget!

YankeeMom, that's why it's still in the bank. I'm going through bills to see what might have been missed. So far NOTHING. Dh has OT again the next 2 pay periods so I can see a few things disappearing REALLY fast! AND, my dayhome is full so October,I have full pay again. Sports are paid for, bills are good. EF is good. Things are fine. BUt I'm waiting a few more days before I transfer it, incase Murphy is lurking!

Thanks I think part of it is I didn't do groceries last payday. All I picked up was some buns and milk. We had lots from the previous trip. That made a difference of umm... $200 too. WOOHOO! Hopefully this can keep up! I might be ahead of schedule even with August/Sept setbacks!! WOOHOO!

It's addictive! Scraping and penny-pinching really gets into your head

Now, go out and blow $10. Then have a fit and be angry at yourself over it. Post on here about the $10 you wasted.

Then you'll know you've Tightwad Syndrome.
