    Talking Debt free again! YAY!

I finally made the last payment on the debt we had for $591. We had in total after re-calculating around $3500 and we paid it off with income tax and DH's paycheck from Thursday and we still have money left over...

What a burden lifted off my shoulders... as most of you know I am not one for debt, I despise it so I was always cranky and moody because I had debt...

I am now the cheerful Tracy (FrugalMomof3) again, gosh it feels sooooo good.

Anyone else become debt free this new year?

Wow! That's fantastic. I can't wait to be at the point you are. Great job!

I am right there with you. We are debt free also. I had so many medical bills from both of my sons. We finally paid off the last $1000 and plus our retirement loan $5000. My husband uses our CC for business expenses but his work pays him back every month. We had put a few things on there too (sneakers, cruise, etc) so that is at a $0 right now. We are going on a cruise in May, so we have paid half of that off and already have the other half saved up. I'm just so glad we have our reg monthly bills (phone, dish, internet, water, sewer, elec&gas and mortgage to pay) That still seems like alot though.

Wow, that's awesome!! I wish I could say the same, but we still have three years or so to go before our last loan is paid off.
