Talking No debt but the house!

Hooray for tax returns! I got mine yesterday and put it in the bank. This morning I went on line and cleared up my last debt!!!! I paid $2400 on my property taxes and that pays me all of last year and halfway through this year.

My mom and dad will not accept more than $50 a month towards the help they gave me for my legal bills during the custody case, and that does not have interest, so I am just considering it a monthly payment and taking it from my child support (sporadic as it may be).

With the rest of my tax return I have topped up my emergency fund to $1000 and I will have $500 to put towards Disneyworld.

It took me five years to reach this goal, but now I am debt-free except the house and I am never going back to a life that I can't afford!

Way to go! Keep up the good work.
