Applause or great job button perhaps?
I just posted congrats to someone who just paid off their house(yippee!) and I was thinking it would be so nice to have a button where we could give applause or the like as we have hugs and thanks.
It does feel GREAT to have people come in and say "hey great job" but 43 people typing congrats is the same as typing thank you to 43 people.
Just a thought(as if you didn't have enough to do already!"

I agree - the thanks and hug buttons are terrific, and one more would make it perfect!!

Another vote for it here too. 43things.com has a set up where you give "cheers".

I agree! Sometimes I want to post just that, but hit the "thanks" button. Not exactly what I want to convey, kwim?

Button, button who wants more buttons?
Sometimes I wish there were more buttons to the poster. We have "Thanks" and "Hugs" but I would love a "LOL" or "WTG!." There are just so many posts that I can relate to but don't feel I have enough to say/contribute to make it another post in the thread.

A *smack upside the head* button is a must for me.
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.
Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

I would like the Thanks button divided into "Thanks" and "Useful Post." Sometimes I want to thank someone who has responded to a post of mine, because it was nice of them (like a comment or a compliment), not necessarily because it was "useful."
Also a Welcome button could be good. Lots of people seem to look at new members intros without actually writing a post - as I sometimes do. It would be a friendly way to indicate I had read it, even if I didn't respond. But I would not want this to replace the personalized welcomes - I don't really think it would.Donna
