Question for the Mystery Shoppers

I am wondering about those of you that bring in extra money with mystery shopping. I tried this several years ago and I never even got an assignment. The company I was signed up with only made the more lucrative assignments available to certain people (after you've done so many shops) - but I could never find enough shops to get to that level....is it just the area I live in or are there better companies out there?

I'd love to bring in extra money by mystery shopping, I just don't know how!

What company did you sign up with and did you have to pay? Thanks!

You're not going to get rich, but if you do them while you're out so you're not wasting more gas you can make a little extra. I would do the kmart shops for about $20 and gas stations for $12 plus. Haven't done them lately because of the two little ones and taking classes. You do have to be careful because some of the companies do not let you bring kids or family with you. Corporate Ressearch does. when I was doing it in late 2006, I did it from october to xmas and made over $200. Helped pay for Christmas. Now that classes are over for the summer I'm thinking of starting doing them again.
