What do you think about this marketing idea?

I was thinking of putting my Mary Kay business card in my Halloween goodie bags with a sticker on the back offering a complimentary facial and a $5.00 discount on the first order of $25 or more. Do you think it is tacky? Would it work? I need honest opinions. I won't be upset if you think it is a bad idea. Thanks ladies!!

I think it is a great idea...... When we go to community events, the kids are usually given a bag of goodies, these include bus. cards and coupons....... I usually find something I like ....... Go for it !

that'sa great idea!! parents usually go through the goodies anyway. i would love to get coupons in dd goodie bag!!

not a bad idea at all then the mums get something too... Maybe i should add some of my cards to the bags.?? have to think on that one.

What a great idea. I say as long as it is attached to the sucker or candy it will be received fine. They will either take it or leave it. Some may be like I was when I moved here and didn't have a Rep.

Teresa, think about this. Strange kids come to your door asking for hand outs. And you worry about your idea being tacky???Its an excellent idea!

Wouldn't bother me at all if I found it my kids bags. I agree with mjslady what's tackier than kids coming to your door beggibg for candy! I say go for it!

Thanks ladies!! I still haven't decided yet. Someone recommended that I try to go with the kids and hand out my card to the ladies that answer the doors. Not sure yet...
