Would LOVE help with a decision, plz!!!
I'm going to try to take in more children for daycare. I've made a few banners for a flyer, but I can't decide which one I'd like to use. Here are my options. Most likely, they will be on the flyers at about half size or so, as I plan on 2-3 flyers per page of print. I can also do these on pastel paper or white. I haven't decided yet, but I have both. (I wasn't sure if this went here or in General, so I apologise if it's the wrong place!)

I love # 1. They are all very nice but for some reason #1 stands out. Good luck!

Thanks! It seems to be the most popular on the forums I've posted it on!

I like #2 - the text stands out better and it looks less cluttered to me.
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.
Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

I like #1. But the "penny pincher" in me cringes at the printing cost.
Have you tried listing with your local Child Care Resource and Referral Center? Would it be less expensive to run an ad? We have a local Yahoo Group for daycare providers to post openings. Can't beat free advertising.

We are printing these ourselves & I refill my own cartridges. The paper I have one hand & will probably be printing 10 pages at max. I'm doing 1 flyer at each establishment I'm going to. I understand that thought though! I'm a cheapskate myself,

Oh, and we live in an uber small town. It's difficult to go with much of the free advertising, as there ISN'T much, lol. I figure I may be spending a buck on flyers.

For a home daycare I like number one. In my opinion, the ones with the blackboard represent "schooling" in my mind. I have no problem with my preschooler doing educational activities, but I am not ready for her to enter the typical school environment.

I like number one...there are some other options that aree very low cost or free to try too. I would register with the local childcare assn if there is one near you. I have also seen a lot of signs on street corners like realtor signs saying licensed day care and a phone number. Don't forget the local grocery store, recreation center, city hall and library bulletin boards. The local martial arts, dance, gymnastics academy would be a good place to place an ad too (especially if you will take older kids after school and you are accessible by school bus or very close walking distance from an elementary school). Tell your existing customers you would love references for open positions and to mention it at work, the hair dresser, church and school if they know of anyone unsatisfied with their day care provider or a new parent. An ad in the big city and neighborhood papers is also a good idea.

I like number 1 too.
Few reasons, the framing draws attention to it, one reason that a boxed ad works in a newspaper. Also, the colors are more intense, so it "pops" more.

I like #3 because it has the schooling emphasis. I don't like the blue border, which is why I didn't choose #2.
