    Default Ebay-Free Listings

I just got an e-mail from Ebay last night. They are having free listings from August 3rd until September 7th. You can list up to 100 items for free and then you would only pay if you sold something. It's a great way to try Ebay if you haven't before because it doesn't cost anything to list! I have lots of items around the house, I am definitely going to try to get to the maximum number of items to list for free! Clean out my house and make a little bit of extra cash for debt! Win Win in my book!

    Good luck all!

List your higher dollar items first.

Because this promotion is in additon to the 100 free listings you can do for a start price of .99 or less each month.

You don't want to list .99 items first because if you do, then you might not have enough listings left to get your higher dollar items for free listings.

I found this promotion this morning, when I logged into ebay to see how my current listings are doing. And I did check my email thanks goodness. I was surprised one has a full month to get the 100 listings up. Works for me

You and me both. I just gave away a ton of kids clothes. Nice clothes. I've never had patience for Ebay.

Bummer- just listed a few things last night, but will check to see if there's more hanging around that can go-there always is! I have been bringing in an extra $100=150 a month on eBay just selling stuff lying around we don't use, or reselling stuff I pick up cheap at yard sales and such. Helps feed the 'snowballs'. Thank you for sharing!

That's great Khaski, I just need to settle down and make the time. I sell clothes and do pretty well, but I need to iron them and take pictures. I am going to do that for the next few days and then start listing this weekend. I could probably come up with 100 individual items, I have so many clothes that don't fit anymore since I've lost a bunch of weight.

MM and Palooka, it's really not that difficult. I showed my mom how to do it. Research is the key, see what is selling and how much. That's my .02 cents anyway.

Yes, you're right- you have to know the 'market' for the item on ebay. If you have something strange someone, somewhere, will LOVE to have, but won't really be a popular item, you have to start it at the minimum price you'd happily take for it. If you have something that's crazy popular on ebay, start it at .99 knowing it will go high enough to please you. I recently bought 2 identical COACH umbrellas at the Coach outlet for $20 each, put one on eBay starting at .99, it went up to around $40, essentially paying for itself and just about mine as well....I see the same umbrellas starting at $35+, but no one's bidding...but start 'em low, people come out in droves to try to win them. It's nuts.

Well, the free listings go until September 7th. It's a good time to try it out since it won't cost you anything to list! Good luck!

I have been crazy busy and am having my carpets cleaned on Tuesday, so I will start listing after that. I have to spend the next day getting my house ready for the carpet cleaning. I have lots ready to go and more to take pictures of to list!

    Good luck everyone!
