Educate yourself on eBay listing fees, final value fees (selling fees) and PayPal fees. They add up to be about 15%.

Also you need to watch weight and sizes of packages and know your shipping options. Shipping fees can eat into your profits when you make mistakes.

    Good Luck!

~Last year I started adding a $1 handling fee to my listings to cover the charges and expenses on my end. That has helped a lot!
As much as I hate the fees, Ebay and Half get so much traffic that it still seems worth it.
Had time to pack the item to ship and list two more items in my 30 minutes of 'work' today. Some of that time was spent making a template of my seller rules/stipulations that I can copy and paste to future listings to save time. ~

OH and starting July 6 eBay will be calculating the FVF on the price of the item AND your shipping charges.

Ebay is ALREADY taking out the 9 % on the shipping charges.
I wondered why my last bill seemed so high, and went and checked the invoice. Such a greedy company

~Wow, they're probably trying to lower some of those ridiculous shipping charges I've seen. Some people think it's cool to sell an item for $.99 and then charge $29.01 for shipping. That's stupid.
But Ebay shouldn't punish the good sellers with reasonable shipping charges. Sure, charge me a FVF for my handling charge but if I print postage through your site, then you know how much the postage is so don't charge a fee on that. Ludicrous. ~
