    Question Pinecone question

Hello! Recently I signed up with Pinecone research. They sent me a survey to complete, well, I haven't been able to get to this survey. It says it is busy or not available at this time. I've tried this at different times of the day and night and it is still a no go! I've made numerous attempts at reaching someone at Pinecone and the only response I got was a form letter not relating to my situation at all.

Well, today I received a check for $5 for the survey I completed. Guess what - I didn't complete this survey. So I sent them another email explaining once again the situation. I don't feel right in depositing this check if I didn't do what they wanted.

Have any of you had these experiences with Pinecone? What would you do?

I also always receive a response if I get a survey like you did, they will email me back and tell me the problem is fixed.

I hope you get it resolved soon

Well I still haven't heard from them but hopefully I will by tomorrow. I'm still going to wait to cash the check. I just don't think it's right do use it if I haven't done the job. Do you agree?

I have also received a check for a survey I didn't get a chance to participate in (I wasn't feeling well at the time) I didn't cash/deposit it b/c that would have been stealing.
I tore up the check and waited for the next survey.

Did your check/letter/email have a date you needed to have your survey completed by? (ex: mine had to done by today)
From what I can gather, you just rip up and toss out the check when you don't complete a survey.
I'm excited that I got accepted. I'm new to it, so wish I could be better help. I'd go ahead and fire off another email to them.

scooby - this is off the subject but I noticed on your sig line that it looks like you posted a picture. It's coming up as a box with a red x in it. Just wanted to let you know. I would love to see it.

Sara - the letter attached to the check said it needed to be completed by today the 20th. I'll try a few more times today and if I can't do it then I will rip the check up. I'm also excited I was choosen to participate - I just wish I could!!

How does one become a member with them? I'd love to do this too but know very little about them. Is it by invitation only?

If you go to their site you can read the faq's.
    http://www.pineconeresearch.com
From what I gather, they post banners on sites to gain new participants.

I joined because Chris mentioned to me that there was a banner posted and to try and sign up, so I did and waited a few days and got a letter in the mail saying I was accepted.

Michelle - I notice that people would post on different freebies (this was on a previous site I was a member of) when a pinecone research banner was coming up on a different web site. I can't remember the site that I found this one on. When I found it I just clicked on it and I had to fill out a form from with my info. A couple of days later I received an email asking me to complete a survey. The web site is www.pineconeresearch.com I think on the website there is a section about joining pinecone. Good luck and I hope you are able to join. Everything I've heard is positive. I'm just having a little trouble getting to a survey but that could be a number of things. Let us know if you get in!

Pita - I got an email like that but I've still tried and it's still a no go! I did finally receive an email regarding my difficulty with it and they informed me that I could still cash the check. Pretty nice, huh?
